Head and Neck Cancer Bundle

This resource includes an oral bacteria management protocol for individuals undergoing radiation and chemotherapies for head and neck cancer. It includes a list of signs and symptoms that warrant participation in an objective swallowing evaluation that can be given to both providers and patients. It also includes a list of border signs and symptoms that individuals undergoing head and neck cancer treatment may experience. We give patients this handout during our initial evaluation before the initiation of treatment to help better prepare those individuals for what may occur.
